This scan utilizes a computer software application that assists in determining the amount of bone, lean and fat tissues across the whole body and in specific regions.
CoreScan differentiates between visceral and subcutaneous fat in the abdominal region.
In addition to visceral fat measurements, our reports also include data on resting metabolic rate, right/left symmetry, Relative Skeletal Muscle Index, hip/waist ratio, and Sarcopenia.
Sarcopenia is the age-related loss of muscle mass, strength, and function that can lead to weakness, poor balance, and difficulty with daily activities.

Insurance & Medicare not accepted
We do provide a super receipt for your use in reimbursement through your insurance or any FSA/HSA programs in which you may be enrolled. PPO insurance may cover up to 70% of our services as out of network providers. However, Medicare / Medicare Advantage or HMO plans do not reimburse for our services.
